WHO WE NEED

We need the following types of people for a photoshoot for Novavax:

  • Asian Men age 50+

  • Hispanic Men age 50+

You don’t need any professional modeling experience to apply. However, you should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.

PROJECT INFORMATION

ADVERTISER: Novavax (Vaccine company)

TYPE: Commercial photoshoot

SUMMARY: Scientists working on vaccines and people enjoying dinner/games at home.

UNION STATUS: Non-Union

PHOTOGRAPHER: Kate Woodman (do not contact)

PRODUCER: Sarah Gersbach (do not contact)

SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR area. We are only hiring talent who live in Oregon or Washington for this project. We will not hire anyone who needs to fly in for the shoot (no exceptions).

DATES: Please do not apply if you cannot accommodate the dates listed below as needed.

  • FITTING: If hired, you will be needed for a wardrobe fitting on Wed 7/21 (1-3 hours, can be flexible around your schedule).

  • SHOOT DATES: Thu 7/22 + Fri 7/23. If hired, you’d work 1 of these days, to be determined by the client. To apply, you should be able to fully clear your schedule for either date, as needed.

You should be flexible enough to clear an entire shoot day with just a few days’ notice. Please do not apply if you have immovable conflicts on any dates listed. Please do not request work off or clear your schedule unless asked to do so.

PAY IF HIRED: Total pay if hired will be $1400 and includes

  • $1250 for one shoot day

  • $150 for the wardrobe fitting (1-3 hours)

  • Backups: You may be hired as a backup talent, in which case you’ll be paid $500 to hold your schedule open for the shoot date.

Pay includes your hours worked and the usage of your image by the advertiser. 

Talent agents: 20% agency fee available on all rates.

USAGE/LENGTH: Full buyout, in perpetuity

HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be18+ and live in Oregon or Washington and be legally eligible to work in the US. Must comply with COVID19 protocols.

COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS:  Please only apply if you would feel safe working during COVID19 given the information below.

All CDC and OMPA production protocols will be followed on set. You will sometimes be asked to remove your mask, for active photography and makeup application.

All cast + crew will be tested for COVID19 before the shoot (at no cost to you). Hiring is contingent upon negative test results.
