WHO WE NEED
We need hikers for a photoshoot for Free Country.
Requirements: We’re looking for hikers of all body types and skill levels. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should feel comfortable in nature! Must be 18+ and live in Oregon or Washington to apply.
You don’t need any professional modeling experience to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.
People of all identities (races, sizes, physical abilities, genders, sexualities, religions, ethnicities, countries of origin, and more) who fall within the given parameters are welcome and encouraged to apply. We are committed to representing authentic diversity across all projects.
Accessibility: There will be some physical movement required, including walking on intermediate hiking trails and posing in dynamic positions. You will be standing for long periods (1 hour or more). No lifting is required.

PROJECT INFORMATION

SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, Oregon area
DATES: Please do not apply if you have any immovable conflicts on the dates listed below.
FITTING DATE: Tue 8/10 (2 hours, time TBD). Partial conflicts on this date can be accommodated.
SHOOT DATES: Wed 8/11 - Fri 8/13 (you’d work 1-2 days, TBD). Should be able to clear 1-2 full dates as needed.
Please do not request work off or clear your schedule unless requested to do so via email (we will give you as much notice as possible).
PAY IF HIRED: $2500-3500 total, includes:
$1000 per 12-hour shoot day. 1-2 days total.
$1500 for the use of your image by the advertiser.
Talent agents: 20% agency fee available on all rates.
USAGE: Non-exclusive, US, 12 months from first insertion date of September 2021: Digital video, digital advertising, OOH, DOOH, Web/ Internet, Social Media, Emails, Print Advertising, Direct Mail, PR. In perpetuity: internal and archival use, all internal communications including sell-in/trade for retailers and any archive of social media channels/websites provided the images were placed on such social media channels/websites during the term. Option: Addressable TV, Local TV
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18+ and be legally eligible to work in the US. Must comply with COVID19 protocols.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: Please only apply if you would feel safe working during COVID19 given the information below.
The casting process will be 100% remote. There will be no in-person auditions or callbacks. Production will follow all CDC and OMPA guidelines
All cast + crew who have not been fully vaccinated will be tested for COVID19 before the shoot (at no cost to you). Hiring is contingent upon negative test results.
Note that as models, you will sometimes be asked to remove your mask, for active photography and makeup application. You may be in a group scene with up to 5 other models.
CASTING PROCESS
Photos: You will need the following photos to apply:
(1) Headshot. Professional photo not required. Any nice recent photo of you is fine. No hats, sunglasses, or filters.
(1) Selfie from Today. Head + shoulders only. Raise camera slightly. No filters.
(3) Outdoor Snapshots. Existing photos of you hiking / enjoying nature.
(3) Portfolio Shots. Other nice snapshots of you
SIZES: Please look up your Free Country apparel size on the charts below before applying.
Please fill out as much information as possible in the “Apparel” section of your casting form. You’ll need to click “Measurements” and “W apparel” or “M apparel” to expand those sections.
