WHO WE NEED
We need pets for a photoshoot for Walgreens.
We’re looking for well-behaved:
Dogs (any breed). No senior dogs.
Kittens. No adult cats (we’re sure your cat is a star though!)
We need pets who are house-broken and friendly with adults and kids. Bonus points for pets who have completed training and/or obedience programs.
Attention Humans! We’re also casting pets + humans together for this project. If you’re interested in participating in this photoshoot, please check out our casting calls for individuals and families before submitting your pet. If you fit one of the human categories, please apply as a human. You’ll be able to include your pet in the application!

PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: Walgreens
TYPE: Commercial photoshoot
SUMMARY: People engaging with Walgreens products and doing health & wellness activities. Taking vitamins, managing medications, working out at home, joining telehealth visits, using fitness trackers, playing with their pets, etc.
UNION STATUS: Non-Union

SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR area. We are only hiring pets who live within 1 hour of Portland. No exceptions.
DATES: Please note that humans will be required to accompany their pet to the shoot as “handlers.” Do not apply if you cannot accommodate the dates listed below as needed. You should be flexible enough to clear an entire shoot day with just a few days notice. Please do not request work off or clear your schedule unless asked to do so.
AUDITIONS: No in-person auditions. Please submit your application using the link below.
CALLBACKS: If selected for callbacks, we will request additional photos/video from you between Thu 3/18- Sat 3/20.
SCOUT/SHOOT DATES: Tue 3/30, Wed 3/31, and Thu 4/1. If hired, you’d work 1-2 days, to be determined by the client. Please do not apply if you have any conflicts you could not rearrange on these dates.
PAY IF HIRED: $500/day if your pets are used in the shoot.
Pay includes the hours worked and the usage of your pet’s image by the advertiser.
Talent agents: 20% agency fee available on all rates.
USAGE: 5 years. Unlimited use in all media (Use in broadcast shall be limited to use as background collateral in anything shot in a Walgreen's store) including but not limited to, all print media, OOH, in‐store, industrial, collateral, direct mail, digital/social, worldwide web and any other media, on all images and footage captured and derivatives thereof.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must live within 1 hour of Portland, OR. Must comply with COVID19 protocols.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: Please only apply if you would feel safe working during COVID19 given the information below.
The casting process will be 100% remote. There will be no in-person auditions or callbacks.
If you are selected for this project, we will share a comprehensive list of on-set COVID19 protocols that you can review before accepting the gig. All CDC and Oregon State production protocols will be followed.
Humans who accompany their pets to the shoot (1 person only) will be tested for COVID19 at no cost to you. Hiring is contingent upon negative test results. All other cast + crew will be tested.
CASTING PROCESS

Application instructions: Please fill out the top section with the name/contact information of the human, not the pet. You’ll enter your pet’s information afterwards.
You will be asked to upload photos and answer some questions about your pet. Please gather the following photos in advance (cell phone shots are fine).
3 photos of each pet you are submitting
2 photos of the human “handler” (face and full-body photos)
Please upload as many photos as possible! The more photos, the better your chances of being hired!
If you have multiple pets, please fill out one form only, and include photos of each pet who is available.
Have more than 3 pets? Include the info for all your pets in the form questions, and email us the photos of pets 4+.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please apply ASAP as first submissions take priority.
NEXT STEPS: If you are selected for further consideration, we will reach out to you with next steps. You will most likely be asked to record a short video telling us more about yourself. Please note that if you are not selected, you will not receive a notice.
NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
