WHO WE NEED
We need hikers and climbers for a video shoot for The North Face. We’re looking for:
Hikers/Climbers 18+ | Outdoorsy people age 18+ who are comfortable hiking a moderate trail. Climbing experience is a bonus but not required.
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.
PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: The North Face

UNION STATUS: Non-Union
SHOOT LOCATION: Denver or Boulder, CO
SHOOT DATES: Mon 11/25
PAY IF HIRED: $400 for 1 half day of work (up to 5hrs)
Pay includes your hours worked and the use of your image by the advertiser as outlined in the usage terms below.
No mileage/lodging reimbursement available, all talent must work as locals to the shoot location.
Talent agents: +20% available on all listed rates.
USAGE TERMS: 3 months, worldwide paid + organic social media. Archival rights in perpetuity.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18+, live within 150 miles of Denver, and be legally eligible to work in the US. If you have a talent agent, it is mandatory to list your agency on your application.
People of all identities (races, sizes, physical abilities, genders, sexualities, religions, ethnicities, countries of origin, and more) who fall within the given parameters are welcome and encouraged to apply. We are committed to representing authentic diversity across all projects.

For photo-only projects: All talent are welcome to submit, regardless of union status.
For projects with video, the project will be listed as either SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union.
For non-union video projects: Non-union and Fi-Core talent are eligible (SAG talent should not apply.) Casting does not verify talent’s union status with SAG.
For SAG video projects: All talent are eligible to submit, but must be cleared to work by SAG if hired. This means that before shooting, SAG members may need to resolve unpaid dues. Non-union talent may be required to join the union in order to work (if they have worked on SAG projects in the past.)
If you do not know what this means, you are most likely non-union and can apply to any project.
HOW TO APPLY
You will need the following materials (cell phone photos/videos are fine).
(1) Headshot Color Photo. No hats, sunglasses, or filters. This does not have to be a professional photo. Any recent, nice quality photo.
(4-6) Photos Recent photos of you doing outdoor activities (hiking, climbing, skiing, etc.) If no outdoor photos are available, other recent photos of you.
NEXT STEPS: If you are selected for further consideration, we will reach out to you with the next steps. Please do not clear your schedule and assume you are not needed unless you hear from us.
NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
