WHO WE NEED
We need people who love the outdoors for a video for Turtle Fur. We’re looking for:
Advanced Skiers/Snowboarders age 18+ | Skiers or snowboarders who are confident in their skills and can share stories about achieving their goals.
Beginner Skiers/Snowboarders age 18+ | People who are still learning to ski or snowboard with confidence.
Outdoorsy Kids ages 5-11 | Kids who love being outside and can share stories about their first outdoor experiences.
Outdoorsy Parents age 18+ | Parents who can share stories about introducing their kids to nature.
Outdoorsy Seniors age 55+ | Seniors who started their outdoor lifestyle in their 50s or later.
Outdoorsy Late Bloomers age 18+ | Adults who grew up in a city and discovered their passion for the outdoors as a teen or adult.
Outdoor Enthusiasts age 14+ | People with a great story to tell about how spending time outdoors has changed their life.
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.
PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: Turtle Fur
TYPE: Video
UNION STATUS: Non-Union
SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR area
SHOOT DATES: Wed 11/20
PAY IF HIRED: $1000 for 1 day of work (10hrs)
Pay includes your hours worked and the use of your image by the advertiser as outlined in the usage terms below.
No mileage/lodging reimbursement available, all talent must work as locals to Portland.
Talent agents: +20% available on all listed rates.
USAGE TERMS: 2 years. Pre-roll, social media and client website. Archival rights in perpetuity.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must live in OR/WA and be legally eligible to work in the US. If you have a talent agent, it is mandatory to list your agency on your application.
People of all identities (races, sizes, physical abilities, genders, sexualities, religions, ethnicities, countries of origin, and more) who fall within the given parameters are welcome and encouraged to apply. We are committed to representing authentic diversity across all projects.

For photo-only projects: All talent are welcome to submit, regardless of union status.
For projects with video, the project will be listed as either SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union.
For non-union video projects: Non-union and Fi-Core talent are eligible (SAG talent should not apply.) Casting does not verify talent’s union status with SAG.
For SAG video projects: All talent are eligible to submit, but must be cleared to work by SAG if hired. This means that before shooting, SAG members may need to resolve unpaid dues. Non-union talent may be required to join the union in order to work (if they have worked on SAG projects in the past.)
If you do not know what this means, you are most likely non-union and can apply to any project.
NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
