WHO WE NEED
We need Native and/or Indigenous people for a photoshoot for Pendleton.
Requirements: We’re looking for people age 18+ who are interested in modeling and identify as Native and/or Indigenous. Must live on land within the United States’ borders.
You don’t need any professional modeling experience to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.
People of all identities (races, sizes, physical abilities, genders, sexualities, religions, ethnicities, countries of origin, and more) who fall within the given parameters are welcome and encouraged to apply. We are committed to representing authentic diversity across all projects.
Accessibility: There will be some physical movement required, including standing and posing in dynamic positions. You will be standing for long periods (1 hour or more). No lifting required. to apply, you should be able to stand for prolonged periods and hold modeling poses.

PROJECT INFORMATION

SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, Oregon (the native land of Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, and Molalla tribes)
DATES: Please do not apply if you have any immovable conflicts on the dates listed below.
SHOOT DATES: Tue 6/22 or Wed 6/23 (you’d work 1 day, TBD)
If hired, you will be hired for a specific date chosen by the production company; we cannot take your schedule preferences into consideration. So, you must be able to make yourself available for all listed dates. Your schedule should be flexible enough to clear an entire day with only a few days’ notice. Please do not request work off or clear your schedule unless requested to do so via email (we will give you as much notice as possible).
PAY IF HIRED:
Shoot: $2000 for one shoot day (up to 10 hours)
Fitting: $150 for up to 3 hours
Travel: Airfare, lodging, and/or mileage will be provided as needed.
Pay includes your hours worked and the usage of your image by the advertiser.
Talent agents: 20% agency fee available on all rates.
USAGE: Print + Digital/Social, excludes billboard and national print. 2 years.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18+ and be legally eligible to work in the US. Must comply with COVID19 protocols.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: Please only apply if you would feel safe working during COVID19 given the information below.
The casting process will be 100% remote. There will be no in-person auditions or callbacks. Production will follow all CDC and OMPA guidelines
All cast + crew who have not been fully vaccinated will be tested for COVID19 before the shoot (at no cost to you). Hiring is contingent upon negative test results.
Note that as models, you will sometimes be asked to remove your mask, for active photography and makeup application. You may be in a group scenes with up to 3 other models.
CASTING PROCESS

You will be asked to upload photos and answer some questions about yourself. Please gather the following photos in advance (cell phone shots are fine).

Color photo. No hats/sunglasses, or snapchat filters.
If you don’t have a professional headshot, any nice photo of you.

Not a Headshot. Take a new selfie (see below for reference)
Men: scruffy facial hair/ a 5 o’clock shadow is great for the selfie! No need to shave first.
(1) Full Body Photo (from today)
Straight to camera. No mirror selfies. (see below for reference)
(6+) Portfolio Shots
Photos from your modeling portfolio. If you're not a professional model, any high-quality photos of you are fine. Make sure we can see your face!
Pendleton Sizes
Please look up your Pendleton top size on the charts below before applying.
Please fill out as much information as possible in the “Apparel” section of your casting form. You’ll need to click “Measurements” and “W apparel” or “M apparel” to expand those sections.
