WHO WE NEED
We need Black families who live near Los Angeles or San Diego for a photoshoot for KEEN footwear.
This is a sample size shoot, meaning there is only one size shoe available. In order to be considered, you must fit the sizes/ages below. If you don’t fit, consider signing up for general consideration.
Requirements:
All family members must identify as Black. The shoot is a collaboration with Outdoor Afro.
Families can have any combination of 2-4 family members who fit the following requirements. Please submit only the family members who fit. Partial families are fine, if you are comfortable being paired with other models.
MOM fits size 7 shoe in KEEN footwear. Maximum shoe size 8, size 8.5 is too big. Age 18+
DAD fits size 9 shoe in KEEN footwear. Maximum shoe size 10, size 10.5 is too big. Age 18+
KID(S) at least one kid age 3-6. Must be in this exact range to fit the kid’s shoes.
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.

PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: KEEN Footwear in collaboration with Outdoor Afro
TYPE: Commercial photoshoot. Scenes portray families enjoying a day at the lake together.
UNION STATUS: Non-union
SHOOT LOCATION: Carlsbad, CA (between Los Angeles and San Diego)
We are only considering talent who live in the Los Angeles or San Diego areas. We do not hire talent who would need to fly in for the shoot.
SHOOT DATES: Tues 3/22 (2022). Must be fully available for this date.
Please do not request work off or clear your schedule unless requested to do so via email (we will give you as much notice as possible).
PAY IF HIRED:
ADULTS: $1500/day per person
KIDS: $800/day per person
Pay includes your hours worked and the usage of your image by the advertiser. +20% agency fees available for represented talent.
USAGE: Internal use only. Worldwide/perpetuity for internal use.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must live in the Los Angeles or San Diego areas, and be legally eligible to work in the US. Kids must have (or obtain) a valid work permit.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: The casting process will be 100% remote. There will be no in-person auditions or callbacks. Please only apply if you would feel safe working during COVID19 given the information below. Please note these policies are determined by the production company, who is the official employer.
All crew members are fully vaccinated. Vaccination is not mandatory for talent.
Note that as on-camera talent, you will sometimes be asked to remove your mask, for active photography and makeup application. You may be in a group scene.
HOW TO APPLY
You will need the following materials (cell phone shots are fine).
(3-6) Family Photos: Please only include photos of family members who fit the size/age requirements above. Take new photos if necessary! Seflies are fine if we can clearly see your faces (and they aren’t too silly).

(1) Full Body Photo for each family member who is applying

If you have a talent agent, it is mandatory to list your agency on your application.
