WHO WE NEED
We need adults who look age 25+ for a photo + video shoot for Chef’Store
We’re looking for:
People with experience in food service! Especially chefs + line cooks.
Other adults who look age 25+ (all identities) interested in modeling as employees + customers at Chef’Store.
You must live in Oregon or Washington to apply. Talent age 5+ must be fully vaccinated (pending medical/religious exemptions) to be hired.
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply/ You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.

PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: Chef'Store
TYPE: Commercial photo + video shoot
UNION STATUS: Non-Union
PHOTOGRAPHER: Leah Veraway (do not contact)
SHOOT LOCATION: Portland + Salem, Oregon (exact location TBD). You should have your own transportation and be available to work in either location, as needed.
We are only considering talent who live in Oregon or Washington. We do not hire talent who would need to fly in for the shoot.
SHOOT DATES: Wed 2/23 - Fri 2/25 (1 day, TBD)
Please do not apply if you have any immovable conflicts on the dates listed (going out of town, etc.) Your schedule should be flexible enough to work any dates during this range as needed. Please do not request work off or clear your schedule unless requested to do so via email (we will give you as much notice as possible).
PAY IF HIRED: $500 for one half-day (up to 5 hours)
Pay includes your hours worked and the usage of your image by the advertiser.
USAGE: Unlimited, in perpetuity
REPRESENTED TALENT: If you have a talent agent, the pay rates + usage terms will be different. Please see Casting Networks, Casting Frontier, or your agent for confirmed rates.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must live in OR or WA, and be legally eligible to work in the US. Must comply with all COVID19 protocols. Talent age 5+ must be fully vaccinated. pending medical/religious exemptions.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: The casting process will be 100% remote. There will be no in-person auditions or callbacks. Please only apply if you would feel safe working during COVID19 given the information below. Please note these policies are determined by the production company, who is the official employer.
Production will follow all CDC and OMPA guidelines
All cast + crew age 5+ must be fully vaccinated (including available boosters) in order to be hired, pending medical/religious exemptions.
All cast + crew must test negative for COVID19 before the shoot (at no cost to you).
Note that as on-camera talent, you will sometimes be asked to remove your mask, for active photography and makeup application. You may be in a group scene.
HOW TO APPLY
To submit for this project you will need the following materials. Cell phone shots are fine!
(1) Headshot: This does not have to be a professional photo. Any recent, nice quality photo. No hats, sunglasses, or filters. Color Photo.
(1) Selfie from today showing your current hairstyle. Minimal makeup (if any), hair down. No hats, sunglasses, or filters. Color Photo.
(1) Intro Video. :30 Seconds total (keep it short, please!). Selfie video, waist up, portrait mode. Please introduce yourself (full name) and tell us:
Do you have any experience in the food / restaurant industry? In what capacity, what roles have you held? What do you like about it?
Do you have any experience working on set as an actor, model, or extra? Please mention a favorite shoot you’ve been part of.
If you don’t have experience in either category, you can just tell us about your favorite hobbies and passions.
Please be sure to bring authentic, positive energy to the video!
(1) Full Body Photo (1) Full Body Photo recent photo showing your body type.
OPTIONAL (3-5) additional photos, showing off your personality and/or modeling portfolio.
