WHO WE NEED
We need families for a photoshoot for Walgreens.
We’re looking for families who fit at least one of the following criteria:
BIPOC Mom (Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color) with at least 1 kid under 13.
(2) LGBTQ+ Parents with at least 1 kid under 13.
If you have additional partners/kids, feel free to include them in your application.
Bonus Points: We’re especially interested in families who fit the above criteria and include:
Pregnant People
Babies/Toddlers
Black, Latinx, or Asian parents
You don’t need any professional modeling experience to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.

PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: Walgreens
TYPE: Commercial photoshoot
SUMMARY: People engaging with Walgreens products and doing health & wellness activities. Taking vitamins, managing medications, working out at home, joining telehealth visits, using fitness trackers, etc.
UNION STATUS: Non-Union
PHOTOGRAPHER: Charles Gullung (do not contact)
PRODUCER: Michelle Boucher (do not contact)
SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR area. We are only hiring talent who live in Oregon or Washington for this project. We will not hire anyone who needs to fly in for the shoot (no exceptions).
If your home is located in/near Portland and is available as a shooting location, we may photograph you there for additional pay (not required).
DATES: Please do not apply if you cannot accommodate the dates listed below as needed. Your family should be flexible enough to clear an entire shoot day with just a few days notice. Please do not request work off or clear your schedule unless asked to do so.
AUDITIONS: No in-person auditions. Please submit your application using the link below.
CALLBACKS: If selected for callbacks, we will request additional photos/video from you between Thu 3/18- Sat 3/20.
FITTING: If hired, you will be needed for (2) zoom appointments to determine your wardrobe, between Tue 3/23-Fri 3/26.
SHOOT DATES: Tue 3/30, Wed 3/31, and Thu 4/1. If hired, you’d work 1-2 days, to be determined by the client. Please do not apply if you have any conflicts you could not rearrange on these dates.
PAY IF HIRED:
Family of 3-4: $4000 for one shoot day
Family of 2: $2000 per adult + $1000 per kid, for one shoot day
Wardrobe Fitting: $75/hr per person for up to 3 hours of meetings with the stylist.
Optional
Pets: $500 if your pets are used in the shoot
Locations: $1000 if your home is used in the shoot (paid to the owner). We may need to visit your home for scouting before the shoot (likely Mon 3/29). Location pay includes scouting time.
Additional $500 per person if you are needed for a second shoot day.
Backups: If you are selected as a first-choice backup, you will be paid $200 per person to hold the shoot date open, in case of last-minute changes.
Lodging/mileage reimbursement available if needed (for OR/WA residents who live outside the Portland area).
Pay includes your hours worked and the usage of your image by the advertiser.
Talent agents: 20% agency fee available on all rates.
USAGE/LENGTH: 5 years. Unlimited use in all media (Use in broadcast shall be limited to use as background collateral in anything shot in a Walgreen's store) including but not limited to, all print media, OOH, in‐store, industrial, collateral, direct mail, digital/social, worldwide web and any other media, on all images and footage captured and derivatives thereof.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must live in Oregon or Washington and be legally eligible to work in the US. Adults must be 18+ and minors must be able to provide a birth certificate or passport. Must comply with COVID19 protocols.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: Please only apply if you would feel safe working during COVID19 given the information below.
The casting process will be 100% remote. There will be no in-person auditions or callbacks.
If you are selected for this project, we will share a comprehensive list of on-set COVID19 protocols that you can review before accepting the gig. All CDC and Oregon State production protocols will be followed.
All talent will be tested for COVID19 before the shoot (at no cost to you). Hiring is contingent upon negative test results.
Note that as models, you will sometimes be asked to remove your mask, for active photography and makeup application. People who apply as individuals may be cast in group scenes with 1-2 others outside their pod, including a scene where you are hugging one other person. Families will be cast within their pod, but may share the same filming location with another group. All models will be tested, but please consider these factors before applying.
CASTING PROCESS

You will be asked to upload photos and answer some questions about your family. Please gather the following photos in advance (cell phone shots are fine).

Individual photo of each family member
Photos of your home if it is available as a shooting location (1 exterior, 1-3 interior)
Photos of your pets, if they are available for the photoshoot (we need dogs and kittens)
Photos of additional members of your COVID pod, if they are available
Please upload as many photos as possible! The more photos, the better your chances of being hired!
DEADLINE TO APPLY: Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Please apply ASAP as first submissions take priority.
NEXT STEPS: If you are selected for further consideration, we will reach out to you with next steps. You will most likely be asked to record a short video telling us more about yourself. Please note that if you are not selected, you will not receive a notice.
NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
