WHO WE NEED
We need athletes for a video shoot for Nike. We’re looking for:
Beginner Runners 18+ | People who are new to running (3 years or less) or who only run to cross-train for other activities but don’t consider themselves a runner.
Basketball Players 14+ | People with at least 2 years of experience playing basketball at the high school/college level or above.
Basketball Coaches 18+ | People with at least 2 years of experience coaching basketball at the high school/college level or above.
Runners 18+ | All kinds of runners, including:
Intermediate Runners who run for general fitness, 5-10 miles per week or more.
Distance Runners who train for marathons (or similar), 30+ miles per week.
Trail Runners who run on trails regularly, 10+ miles per week.
Japanese People 18+ | People who identify as fully or partially Japanese.
Barbers 18+ | People with experience working as a barber.
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.

SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR area
We are only considering talent who are based in Oregon/Washington and would not need to fly in for the shoot.
SHOOT DATES: Thu 12/14-Fri 12/22 (1 day Mon-Fri, TBD)
Please only apply if you can be flexible enough to clear the entire day/evening for any of the shoot date(s) listed, as requested. Do not apply if you will be out of town or if you have immovable conflicts. Please do not clear your schedule after applying, we will request you hold the dates if you are selected.
PAY IF HIRED:
PRINCIPALS:$125/hr (5 hours minimum)
EXTRAS: $300/day (8 hours) PDX locals only, no travel.
Potential additional pay of $2000 may be available if the client decides to extend the usage after the original terms (at client’s discretion, not guaranteed.)
Pay includes your hours worked and the use of your image by the advertiser as follows: Internal only. Worldwide/perpetuity for internal use, with the option to upgrade to 2 year usage for advertising (per client.)
Mileage/lodging reimbursement available for talent who live more than 100 miles from Portland (within OR/WA only.)
Talent agents: +20% available on all listed rates.
NCAA ATHLETES: If you are a current/future NCAA athlete you can only be hired if you are represented by a modeling agency and have been booked before. If you play NCAA sports and have never modeled before, please do not apply.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18+ and based in OR/WA, and be legally eligible to work in the US. Must comply with all COVID19 protocols. If you have a talent agent, it is mandatory to list your agency on your application.

Stills only projects: all talent are welcome to submit, regardless of union status.
For video projects, the project will be listed as either SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union.
Non-union projects: Non-union and Fi-Core talent are eligible (SAG talent should not apply.) Casting does not verify talent’s union status with SAG.
SAG projects: All talent are eligible to submit, but if hired must be cleared to work by SAG. This means that before shooting, SAG members may need to resolve unpaid dues, and non-union talent may be required to join the union in order to work.
If you do not know what this means, you are most likely non-union and can apply to any project.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: No vaccination requirement. Production will follow all state + local guidelines. As on-camera talent, you will be required to remove your mask for active photography and makeup application. You may be in a group scene. The policies are determined by the production company, who is the official employer.
HOW TO APPLY
NEXT STEPS: If you are selected for further consideration, we will reach out to you with the next steps. Please note that if you are not selected, you may not receive a notice. We do our best to inform talent who are not selected, but this often happens very close to (or after) the listed shoot dates. Please do not clear your schedule unless requested, and assume you are not needed unless you hear from us.
NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
