WHO WE NEED

We need kids with physical disabilities for a commercial for Nike shooting in Portland, OR. We’re looking for kids (under 18, ideally 4-8) who are physically disabled and use a mobility aid for their feet/legs (braces, prosthetic, cane, walker, wheelchair, etc).

No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.

PROJECT INFORMATION

ADVERTISER: Nike

TYPE: Commercial Video + Stills

UNION STATUS: Non-union

SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR area (travel provided)

SHOOT DATES:

  • Wed 10/11 + Thu 10/12 (1-2 days, TBD)

  • Fitting on Mon 10/9

Please only apply if you can be flexible enough to clear the entire day/evening for any of the shoot date(s) listed, as requested. Do not apply if you will be out of town or if you have immovable conflicts. Partial Please do not clear your schedule after applying, we will request you hold the dates if you are selected.

PAY IF HIRED:

  • $1200/day for 1-2 days 10 hours per day

Pay includes your hours worked and the use of your image by the advertiser as follow (see detailed usage terms below). Nike 2 year standard use, with the option to upgrade to 6 Months usage for advertising (per client.) Potential additional $1200 pay if client decides to extend the usage (not guaranteed, to be determined by client after the shoot).

For nonlocal talent, all travel (flights/hotel/transportation) will be provided.

Talent agents: +20% available on all listed rates.

  • Detailed Usage:

    USAGE 2 years from date of first public use, but perpetual for NIKE’s internal usage and archival purposes (e.g., Materials may remain perpetually where originally published, and NIKE has no obligation to remove Materials upon expiration of the usage period so long as no new publications occur after expiration).

    Usage Territory: Worldwide

    Usage Media: Nike shall have the unlimited and irrevocable right for itself, its affiliates, and licensees to use, reproduce, prepare derivative works of, distribute, publicly perform, display, exhibit, digitize, create gifs, and otherwise use the Materials in the following media (the “Media Channel(s)”), including without limitation: Digital Radio, Organic (distributing Nike’s own content via streaming service like Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), Email, Events (e.g., workouts, races, trade shows and conferences, activations, and other events, whether at Nike or third-party locations) Internal (e.g., internal presentations, campus displays), Internet and Digital Channels (e.g., websites, apps, and platforms, whether Nike or third-party owned), Internet Display Advertising & Search, PR (e.g., press coverage by media partners), Print Collateral, Retail (e.g., digital and printed in-store and exterior signage, collateral, displays and screens for Nike- and third-party-owned channels.) Social, Organic, Social, Paid, Other advertising industry standard “below-the-line” media channels and outlets

    Advertising Option: Advertising Option: Nike shall have the option, exercisable in its sole discretion, to expand the Media channels to include the following media for a period of 6 months throughout the world for an additional mutually agreed fee: $1200 + 20%. Out of Home/Digital Out of Home, Print Ad/Print Media

    All talent rates include 2hr fitting (if needed) included. Beyond two hours is $50/hr +20%

    NIKE is not a signatory to any union or guild that has jurisdiction over Talent’s services. Accordingly, Talent’s Services will not be subject to the terms and conditions of any union, guild or collective bargaining agreement.

    Nike does not give Talent the right to pre-approve Materials

    Materials may be used for portfolios only with Nike’s prior written approval in each instance. Email will be sufficient.

    Confidentiality –Talent shall not use, disclose, copy or distribute to third parties any information, content, or product learned, viewed, or accessed while performing services. NIKE has a zero tolerance policy for unauthorized release (including social media posts) or disclosure of products or any other information or materials learned or accessed during a shoot.

    “Likeness” includes Talent’s physical likeness (whether real, animated, or otherwise), name, voice, and biographical information.

    NCAA: NIKE expects all Talent to be aware of and compliant with all rules governing high school or college athletics programs. Talent, not NIKE, is responsible for Talent’s own eligibility and/or amateur standing.. All talent must fill out the Athlete Eligibility form.

  • Stills only projects: all talent are welcome to submit, regardless of union status.

    For video projects, the project will be listed as either SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union.

    Non-union projects: Non-union and Fi-Core talent are eligible (SAG talent should not apply.) Casting does not verify talent’s union status with SAG.

    SAG projects: All talent are eligible to submit, but if hired must be cleared to work by SAG. This means that before shooting, SAG members may need to resolve unpaid dues, and non-union talent may be required to join the union in order to work.

    If you do not know what this means, you are most likely non-union and can apply to any project.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be legally eligible to work in the US. Must comply with all COVID19 protocols. If you have a talent agent, it is mandatory to list your agency on your application.

COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: No vaccination requirement. Production will follow all local + state guidelines. As on-camera talent, you will be required to remove your mask for active photography and makeup application. You may be in a group scene. The COVID policies are determined by the production company, who is the official employer.

NEXT STEPS: If you are selected for further consideration, we will reach out to you with the next steps. Please note that if you are not selected, you may not receive a notice. We do our best to inform talent who are not selected, but this often happens very close to (or after) the listed shoot dates. Please do not clear your schedule unless requested, and assume you are not needed unless you hear from us.

NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
