WHO WE NEED
We need CDL drivers for a video shoot for DAT. We’re looking for:
CDL Drivers 18+ | People with a valid commercial driver’s license (Class A,B, or C)
CDL Drivers in Training 18+ | People currently enrolled in Driver training or who hold a Learner’s Permit
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.
PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: DAT Freight & Analytics
TYPE: Video
UNION STATUS: Non-Union
SHOOT LOCATION: Portland, OR and other Oregon/Washington locations.
SHOOT DATES: Various dates for multiple projects throughout the year.
PAY IF HIRED: If selected, DAT would add you to their talent roster and potentially contact you for a variety of projects, including:
Full Day Shoots (8+ hours): $1000 for the first day, $800 for each additional day (1-4 days, depending on project).
Half-Day shoots (4 hours or less): $150/hr
Pay includes your hours worked and the use of your image by the advertiser as outlined in the usage terms below.
Mileage reimbursement at the federal rate is available for talent who live more than 100 miles from Portland (Oregon/Washington residents only.)
Talent agents: +20% available on all listed rates.
USAGE TERMS: All media, 4 years from date of first publication.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18+, live in OR/WA, and be legally eligible to work in the US.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: No vaccination or testing requirements.

For photo-only projects: All talent are welcome to submit, regardless of union status.
For projects with video, the project will be listed as either SAG-AFTRA or Non-Union.
For non-union video projects: Non-union and Fi-Core talent are eligible (SAG talent should not apply.) Casting does not verify talent’s union status with SAG.
For SAG video projects: All talent are eligible to submit, but must be cleared to work by SAG if hired. This means that before shooting, SAG members may need to resolve unpaid dues. Non-union talent may be required to join the union in order to work (if they have worked on SAG projects in the past.)
If you do not know what this means, you are most likely non-union and can apply to any project.
HOW TO APPLY
Please prepare the following materials for your audition (cell phone photos/videos are fine):
Headshot This does not have to be a professional photo. Any recent, nice quality photo. No hats, sunglasses, or filters. Color Photo.
(Optional but strongly encouraged) Video Medium shot (waist up), 1-2 minutes

Selfie (from today) Showing your current hairstyle. Minimal makeup (if any), hair down. No hats, sunglasses, or filters. Color Photo.
Full Body Photo Recent photo showing your body type.
(Optional) Friend/Family Photo Photo of a friend, partner or family member who would potentially be interested in joining you for the shoot.
(Optional) Pet Photo Photos of any pets who like to ride with you.
(Optional) Truck Photos Photos of any trucks you own
If you have a talent agent, it is mandatory to list your agency on your application.

Please note that if you are not selected, you may not receive a notice as casting decisions often happen up until the listed shoot dates. Please do not clear your schedule and assume you are not needed unless you hear from us.

NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
