Selftape Instructions: Nike Starblazers

SHOOT DATES: Fri 3/7-Mon 3/10 (1-3 days per talent)

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS

For your audition, you will need to submit (1) recent, color Headshot, (2) Videos, and (3-5) recent photos of you (ideally from your acting/modeling portfolio, if possible.)

Please submit for ONLY the role you were requested for; do not change your role or audition for multiple roles.

• Adult Lindsey (2 scenes, 1 take each)

• Kid Lindsey (2 scenes, 1 take each)

• Billy (1 scene, 2 takes)

• Chloe (2 scenes, 1 take each)

• Cindy (2 scenes, 1 take each)

• Coach Phil (2 scenes, 1 take each)

• ESPN Reporter (1 scene, 2 takes)

• Frederick (1 scene, 2 takes)

• Jimmy (1 scene, 2 takes)

• Sammy (2 scenes, 1 take each)

• Victoria (2 scenes, 1 take each)

GENERAL GUIDELINES (Please Review)

• EYE LINE: You should be facing camera, with any props in between you and camera. Your eye line should cross camera slightly, about 3 inches offset from lens.

• READER: Please use a live reader (someone to read your cue lines from off camera.) Do not use a recording or leave empty space between your lines

• SLATE: We do not need a slate for this project. Please do not slate (i.e say your name/agency/etc) at the beginning of your takes.

• WARDROBE/HAIR/MAKEUP: No hats. No glasses, if possible. Makeup should be light/natural, if any. Casual hairstyle. Please do not wear stripes, neon colors, or busy patterns.

• PROPS: Refer to the SIDES/INSTRUCTIONS for your role. No miming, please use real objects whenever called for.

• BACKDROP: Please choose a neutral background in a light color. It doesn’t have to be a professional backdrop (a wall is fine), but it should be free of clutter. Please avoid green + blue screens. Grey or white are best.

• VIDEO EDITING: None. Record separate clips for each take. Do not add any text to the videos. Do not add a title card. Do not combine clips into a single video. Recording on your cell phone is great.

NEXT STEPS: If you are selected for further consideration, we will reach out to you with the next steps. Please do not clear your schedule and assume you are not needed unless you hear from us.

NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT: By applying for this project, you agree not to mention your involvement in the project, nor disclose to outside parties any details regarding the advertiser, product, or shoot that may be shared during the casting process. Violation of the NDA may result in termination and/or legal action.
